Some 2,000 civil servants were planning to have a rally tomorrow in Chater Garden calling for the withdrawal of the extradition bill, but they have been formally warned by the government not to take part, and instead and instructed them to remain politically neutral and have "total loyalty" to the chief executive, or suffer consequences. But look up the Civil Service Code and there is no mention about punishment.

So a rally tomorrow, and more this weekend... it's never a dull moment in Hong Kong... always wear comfortable shoes because you never know if the police are going to block the roads or the MTR...
