| Daffodils are already blooming for the new year |
Today the last day of the Year of the Dog was a quiet one -- many people have already left town for a holiday or took today off to prepare for the new year festivities. Today was unusually warm -- there was no need to wear a jacket!
A lot of the shops in the shopping malls closed early too, and many of the restaurants were not busy either, as a lot of people are gathering with their families at home, or eating in Chinese restaurants.
Every year I live in Hong Kong I become more observant of festivals, particularly Chinese New Year.
I wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous Year of the Pig!
