| Protesters running away from tear gas fired at them in Yuen Long |
This evening tear gas was used yet again in Yuen Long in the New Territories to disperse demonstrators who were protesting against the bloody rampage on innocent victims in the MTR station last Sunday. While it is true these marchers today were doing this illegally, do they always have to be blasted with tear gas?
It seems excessive, but perhaps the Hong Kong police felt outnumbered again, and maybe thought tear gas was the easiest way to control the situation...?
Luckily most of the protesters came prepared today with helmets, goggles, umbrellas and even walking sticks to protect themselves.
But does it have to come to this?
Meanwhile the government is no where to be seen and they don't seem to care either.
And so the tear gas (paid by Hong Kong taxpayers) continue to be used against them!
