Picture of the Day: New Kennedy Town Park

Check out this new sleek public space that hopefully will be opened soon
Despite the coronavirus pandemic in Hong Kong (four new cases today, all from the UK), life has gone on in Kennedy Town and a new public space will soon be unveiled!

Almost every evening I walk along the waterfront, and there were some large yellow plastic barriers put up and there was no way to see what was going on there.

Then suddenly the other evening there were lights shining in the area and a few of us strained to have a look.

This evening the space next to the park opened up
In between the cracks we could see a spanking new park! A highly programmed one, but looks sleek and ready to go, but since that day it still hasn't opened to the public for use.

And then today the space next to it was opened up, a long narrow strip of land that was literally empty for a long time. I wonder what will go there, but at least things are happening! It makes the waterfront much more interesting for the community.
