| Tang questions 612 fund's last donation push before October |
Hong Kong's security chief warned the public not to help a fund supporting the anti-government movement, and questioned whether its true motive was to "make underhanded profit" from a final donation drive until it disbands in October.

While he did not name is outright, it is believed Tang is referring to the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund that is under police investigation.
"If any individual or organization breaks the law, our law enforcement agencies will go all out in investigating them, and make arrests and prosecute them if we have evidence," he said today.
Last week the fund announced it would close in October after distributing more than HK$243 million (US$31.2 million) to protester facing criminal prosecution or financial hardship as a result of the 2019 anti-government protests.

Without naming the fund, Tang said: "The organization that was founded to raise funds and help arrestees in litigation... I noticed that they urged people to donate a large amount of money, were they trying to make underhanded profit before their closure?"
The fund's trustees said it had no comment on Tang's remarks.
